27 Sep The Joy of Home Brewing and Gilbert Real Estate

It’s 105 degrees out, but Christmas is just around the corner.  At least that’s the attitude needed when preparing Blitzen’s Christmas Ale courtesy of Brewer’s Connection in Tempe.

The wholesome goodness of fresh milled grains, whole oats and malt extract blended with magnum hops, pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger and clove is a feast for the olfactory senses.

I put this concoction together today and am just waiting for the millions of added yeast cells to start eating away at all those sugars and fermenting from its current state into the malty goodness known as beer.  This particular brew has been enjoyed by friends and clients alike the past several years and I’m always open to new members of both categories.
